The Martian Union Party flailed its way into government by doing slightly better than the religious nuts in the JSPP did. The best thing that this government did was to spread out governance to four speakers instead of one. Strong personalist leadership is exactly what bloody separatist revolts are built off of, which is why I'm tenatively happy that the government is moving past that (when they aren't trying to do the same with the Majority Leader)

I wasn't keeping up much here during the election...
